Inclement Weather Policy – New for 2010/11!!!

A decision on whether to hold morning dance classes during inclement weather will be made by 7:30AM and will be posted on our website and phone message.  A decision on afternoon and evening classes will be made by 1:00PM.  Announcements will be posted on the website and on our phone message. Classes missed due to inclement weather will be rescheduled or made up in a similar class.  

                       Studio Calendar 2010-11

Cabarrus Dance Academy attracts students from several different school districts, both public and private.  For this reason, the dance academy has adopted its own school calendar.  Please keep a copy of this calendar for your reference during the dance year.  First Semester runs August 28 through January 10.

September 6                             Closed for Labor Day

October 2                                 Christmas Ballet Auditions*

                                                10:00AM – Students 8-10

                                                 11:00AM – Students 11 and older

October 3                                 Make-Up Day for Christmas Ballet Auditions*

                                                4:00 PM – Open Call Students 8+

November 20                            Spring Recital Costume Deposits/ Recital Fees Due

November 24-27                        Closed for Thanksgiving

December                                 Christmas Ballet – Performance Date to be announced

December 22 – January 1          Closed for Christmas/New Year Holidays

January 17                                Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday

February 7-11                            Bring A Friend Week

April 7                                       Lee-ette Auditions for 2010-11 Season
