Tammy Jordan
Tammy is owner and director of
Cabarrus Dance Academy., formerly Pegge Lee School of Dance. A graduate of Dance Masters Teacher's
Training School at Kent State University, "Miss Tammy" has owned
and operated the school for over twenty years. She is a member of
Carolina Dance Masters Chapter #15 and Dance Masters of America. She
served two years on the faculty of the Canipe School of Dance in
Wilkesboro, NC before joining the staff of Pegge Lee School of Dance
in 1980. Locally,
"Miss Tammy" has served on the Cabarrus Arts Council and the Chamber
Ballet Theatre board of directors. Her
choreographic credits include three original Christmas ballets for Pegge Lee
School of Dance; and Anything
Goes and The Sound of Music for Old Courthouse
Theatre. She is a member of the Sacred Dance Guild.

Ashley Meendering
"Miss Ashley"
is a former student of Pegge' Lee School of Dance with over twelve years
training.. She is a member of Dance Masters of
America, Inc. and Carolina Dance Masters Chapter #15. Miss Ashley
received her teaching degree from Dance Master's Teacher Training School at the
State University of NY at Buffalo. She recently became a certified Zumba
instructor. She has served on
our staff for thirteen years teaching all phases and levels of dance from
pre-dance to pointe! Miss
Ashley will be teaching our Princess Dance Camp and Fairyland Camp this summer! She will
continue her dance education at a Dance Teacher Conference in Orlando this
summer.

Lisa Beale Niblock
"Miss Lisa" joined
our staff with over twelve years training including ballet, pointe,
tap, and jazz from the Martha Fowlkes Academy of Dance in Danville,
Va. She has a B.A. in Studio Art from Salem College, in
Winston-Salem, NC, where she was a member and choreographer for Dansalems
and completed Independent Studies in Choreography. Lisa has several
years dance teaching experience with other local studios, and over twenty years
experience in teaching all types of fitness classes. She is certified by
ACE and a member of IDEA. She has danced in various community theatre musicals
including "No, No Nanette," "Anything Goes," and "The
Music Man." Miss Lisa is a Dance Masters Teacher's
Training School graduate and a member of Carolina Chapter #15. She is also
a certified Zumba Fitness instructor. Miss Lisa will travel with other
staff members this summer to Orlando to continue her dance education.

Jayme Earnhardt Yodice
"Miss Jayme"
received her early training beginning at age three at PLSD and later at her
mother's dance studio in Mt. Pleasant, NC. Jayme continued her dance
training in ballet, Jazz, modern and Pilates on the campus of Appalachian State University where
she was a Varsity Cheerleader and performed yearly with the ASU Dance Ensemble. Jayme taught
various dance , including Ballroom, at the University and in
the Boone area while working on her Master's degree in Health Psychology.
In addition to teaching dance, Jayme is a licensed therapist. Miss Jayme has been a member of our staff for
eight years. She teaches all disciplines and all age levels,
including our new Modern Classes. She will continue her studies this
summer taking classes in Orlando.

Laurie Jordan Flora
"Miss Laurie" joined
our staff in the fall of 2001.
Laurie has over fifteen years training in all phases of dance. She graduated with honors from Meredith College and received her B.S.
degree in Fashion and Clothing Merchandising with a minor in Business. She
is also a graduate of Dance Master's Teacher Training School specializing in
tap, jazz, and ballet.
Laurie will bring both her dance and business skills to the studio where she
will not only assist and teach classes, but will take on many of the day to
day business activities at CDA. Laurie will also head up The Dance
Shoppe, and will be happy to take care of any specific
dancewear needs you might incur during the year. Miss Laurie is a
certified Zumba Fitness instructor. She will study this summer at the
Dance Teacher's Conference in Orlando.

Lauren Suda
We are delighted that "Miss Lauren"
is returning for the third season. She
specializes in ballet, pointe, jazz, and hip hop. Lauren is a native of Everett.
Washington where she began her early training in dance. She holds a
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance from UNC-Charlotte where she was a member of
the Collegiate Honors Society. Lauren has danced in concert
and in the theatre since middle school. Her performance credits
include "The Tragical History of Dr. Faustus,"
"42nd Street," "Kiss Me Kate," and "Brigadoon" to
name a few. Lauren's volunteer work includes teaching Sunday school at St.
James Catholic Church in Concord. Lauren is a certified Zumba
instructor. She is also employed by Carolinas Northeast Medical
Center.

Jennifer Jordan Wedner
"Miss
Jennifer" graduated cum laude from Lees-McRae College in
2004, with a Bachelor of Science in Dance. At LMC,
Jennifer was an Assistant Resident Director, member of Dance
Works, Order of the Tower, and Nu Delta Alpha. Jennifer studied at the Broadway Dance Center,
STEPS on Broadway, and the Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre. She holds a
teaching degree from the
Dance Masters Teacher's Training School Buffalo, NY. Miss Jennifer
and husband Jeff are the proud parents of a one year old! She will travel with the staff to Orlando this summer to
continue her dance education.

Missy Parks
We are excited to introduce
"Miss Missy" this season. Missy is a native of Pennsylvania, and
received her BS in Biobehavioral Science with a Minor in Dance from the
Pennsylvania State University. She has trained students in
ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and creative movement. Missy is
certified to teach by Dance Masters of America Inc., and a member of Carolina
Dance Masters Chapter 15. She is a certified CPR instructor. We are
delighted that Missy is joining our staff this season!
